Background:
As founder of Langley Properties Company (LPC), Robert Langley has grown the company into one of the largest real estate enterprises in Central Kentucky, with 1.3 million SF of retail, office, and industrial space. As an extension of its development initiatives, LPC has become a noted specialist in buying and repositioning distressed properties.
After developing the Southside Square Shopping Center in Kernersville, NC, LPC has recently expanded its development activities to include the pursuit of retail and mixed-use developments in KY, AL, OH, NC, SC, TN and GA.
In addition to developing, redeveloping, and managing commercial real estate, LPC owns and operates family casual dining establishments in three states. Based on its experience in tracking population migration and consumer shopping behavior, the company opened eight Texas Roadhouse Restaurants (NASDAQ: TXRH) in key areas of Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. LPC was the first to franchise the Texas Roadhouse concept, and its group is consistently the highest performing in the chain.
